Aberdeen Airport statement: Flyglobespan

17 December 2009

Following the confirmed collapse of Scottish airline flyglobespan, an Aberdeen Airport spokeswoman said "This is really disappointing news.

"Our teams have been working with flyglobespan closely in recent months, not only to maintain their winter flying programme but also to secure new routes for the 2010 summer schedule.

"It is important to stress that we are already in dialogue with other operators, travel companies and airlines in order to maintain services for passengers from the North East."

Anyone who was due to fly with flyglobespan should follow the advice given at www.flyglobespan.com, or call 0871 271 9000 during office hours.
