Buses and coaches

Regular buses run from the airport to Aberdeen city centre and other destinations. Services are less frequent at weekends and in the evening, so please confirm bus times with the operator in advance.

A bus journey to the centre of Aberdeen takes about 30 minutes in average traffic, longer at peak times.

Where to catch buses

Buses to Aberdeen, local services and the Stagecoach Bluebird services to Peterhead, Elgin and Inverness stop directly outside Aberdeen Airport. The bus stop is signposted from the terminal.

Long-distance coaches call at the Guild Street bus station in central Aberdeen, next to the rail station. The bus station can be reached from the airport by bus or taxi. Coach operators at Aberdeen include National Express, Scottish Citylink and megabus.

Airport bus services First Aberdeen

Service 80 – Dyce Airlink Bus

This service ties in with the ScotRail train service and links Dyce rail station with Aberdeen Airport, the Heliport and Kirkhill Industrial Estate from Monday to friday. 06:45 to 19:38.

The adult single fare is £1.50.

Service 27

Daytime service (not weekends) to Guild Street bus station in central Aberdeen. A single ticket costs £2.

Stagecoach Bluebird

Service 10

Regular buses run between Aberdeen and Inverness via the airport, or via Blackburn (use connecting services 220 or 224 between the airport and Blackburn). Seven days a week, but reduced service at weekends. A single ticket to Aberdeen bus station costs £1.70.

Jet Service 727

Available from 16th August 2010. Running seven days a week from Aberdeen Bus Station to Aberdeen Airport Terminal. 
The service runs frequently from 04:35 six days a week and on Sundays from 06:45. Fares are £1.70 single, £2.80 day return, £3.00 period return.

Service 747

Weekday-only service running between Peterhead and Dyce via the airport.
