London
More than 600 services a week connect Edinburgh with the five airports serving the UK capital. Ryanair spreads wings
Ryanair extends its route network from Scotland’s capital this autumn, with 11 new services to a range of European destinations taking off in September. Among the new routes are four times weekly services to Berlin, Bratislava and Stockholm Skavsta. Other new services include Billund, Krakow, Lodz, Poznan and Wroclaw. And more flights to the popular Spanish destinations of Malaga and Palma start just in time for some late season sunshine.

New York JFK
Delta Air Lines launched the first ever non-stop service between Edinburgh and New York JFK in May. The daily service will take passengers to one of Delta’s key US hubs, which offers a huge number of onward connections, and of course direct to the Big Apple itself!
Cardiff
The Welsh capital has a unique culture, fascinating history and a wealth of attractions – ideal for a city break. Flybe is starting a new three times daily service from 30 March 2008, with fares starting from £34.99 one way including taxes and charges.
New routes fromJet2
Jet2 is now offering passengers flying to and from Edinburgh a wider range of destinations, with five additional new European services starting from summer 2009. From May next year the airline will fly to the popular Spanish sun spots of Ibiza and Menorca, as well as Italy and the island of Sardinia with routes to Venice and Olbia.
A further addition is Dusseldorf, taking Jet2's total number of destinations to and from Edinburgh to 11. The route network also includes Avignon, Chambery, La Rochelle, Murcia, Pisa, Prague and Toulouse.
