Aberdeen Airport has partnered up with the TAC Healthcare Group Ltd (TAC) to offer Day 0-2 testing to all passengers who require this service.

Day 0-2 Self-Administered Rapid Antigen Tests are picked up at the airport and taken home. Passengers should take the Self-Administered Rapid Antigen Test at home and should then follow the below instructions to report their results.

These tests are valid for Day 0 - 2. Once you have completed Step 2 of the booking process you will receive a confirmation email from TAC which contains the reference for the PLF (Passenger Locator Form).

Tests should NOT be booked if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.

TAC Healthcare Group

TAC is a clinician-led health care provider based in Aberdeen City but covering the whole of the UK. They are regulated by Health Improvement Scotland and the Care Quality Commission.

UK Government guidelines stipulate that customers wishing to purchase Day 0-2 COVID-19 tests must declare that they have been fully vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2 (Coronavirus).

If you have been fully vaccinated you may proceed to purchase your Self-Administered Day 2 Rapid Antigen Test.

If you have not been fully vaccinated then you will not be able to purchase your Self-Administered Day 2 Rapid Antigen Test from Aberdeen Airport.

GOV.UK Foreign travel advice

Use the link in the payment confirmation email to complete step 2 of the booking process with TAC, our testing partner.

This step not only verifies your email address, which is essential to receiving your testing certificate, but it's also because Aberdeen Airport doesn't capture essential health data which you will need to provide to TAC.

This will include your NHS Number (if known) your GPs details,  passport number, and other information required by the Labs in order to process your test.

YOU MUST COMPLETE STEP 2 OTHERWISE YOU WILL NOT BE TESTED

Confirmation

Receive your booking confirmation email from TAC to confirm the slot. Note, during busy periods this can sometimes take a few hours to arrive in your inbox.

Taking the test

On arriving, passengers must follow signs for the testing zone, located in the main terminal, before security search. At the entrance, report to the Reception desk, where further instruction will be provided.

Your kit will include:
• Rapid Antigen Test Kit
• Swabbing Instructions
• Sticker with pre-printed TACHC Number, Name, DOB. You must complete date and time of test section on this sticker.

Write your initials and date of birth on the cassette and attach the sticker ensuring that the results window of the cassette is still clearly visible. Once you have carried out your test, upload a picture here containing both the test cassette and photographic ID. Please note you may only upload one picture so ensure your test cassette and photographic ID are both clearly visible.

Uploading your results

A certificate via email will be issued on receipt of photographic evidence of the test result within 8 - 12 hours. The link below will be sent in your booking confirmation email from TAC Health Care.

Results

Given the frequency of change, we advise you to check the GOV.UK Foreign Travel Advice website for the latest details.

Once the testing process is completed, passengers will be issued a certificate via email on receipt of photographic evidence of the test result within 8 - 12 hours.
