Passenger Service Agent (maternity cover) - Dalcross Handling

Job description

We currently have a vacancy for a temporary part time Passenger Service Agent based at Aberdeen Airport.

The successful candidate will perform the following functions:

Check in passengers and assess any special needs, check documentation and security requirements and control excess baggage. You will also be required to meet flights and assist with inbound passengers as required.

The successful applicant will need to be service minded individual, preferably with previous experience working in other customer facing roles.

Key competencies include flexibility, teamwork skills, accuracy and the successful applicant must be fully conversant with using a computer. You should also have the ability to work in pressurised situations. 

The position will involve shift work, including weekends and Bank Holidays.

Ramp Agent - Dalcross Handling

Job description

We are currently recruiting for permanent Ramp Agent based at Aberdeen Airport. This is a small team and all of the roles will include varied duties and staff will be expected to be flexible and work as a team to deliver the results

As a Ramp Agent you will be required to carry out the following main duties:-

  • Working as a team to deliver ramp product.
  • Moving / handling baggage and freight on ramp, at spur and in arrivals hall.
  • Operating specialist equipment (e.g. tugs, belt loaders, de-icing equipment).
  • Repetitive lifting, working in confined spaces.
  • Handling outsize baggage.
  • Loading dollies, containers.
  • Work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations.
  • Perform any other operational or administrative duties as may be reasonably required by Team Leader.

We are looking for Ramp Agents who are reliable, flexible and able to work as a team and who have a desire to deliver an excellent quality of service. The key competencies required for this position are: flexibility, service minded and team working.

Applicants must be able to provide 5 years checkable references and provide a clear criminal record check.  You must also be prepared to work a mix of shifts and on weekends and bank holidays. Early shifts may start at 4am and late shifts finish at 10.30pm. You must also have a full UK/EU driving licence.
