Aberdeen International Airport has officially launched its search for a new charity partner for 2026/2027.
The current partnership with AberNecessities will conclude at the end of December.
Since 2022, the airport has raised over £250,000 through its charity partnerships, supporting vital causes across the north-east of Scotland.
Previous charity partners include Kayleigh’s Wee Stars, We Too! and AberNecessities who have benefited from staff-led fundraising events, passenger donations, and community initiatives.
Now, the airport is inviting charities to apply to become its next official partner.

Working with AberNecessities, Kayleigh’s Wee Stars, and We Too! has been a privilege, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to support the incredible work they do.
“Looking ahead to 2026/2027, we’re excited to hear from other charities making a difference in our communities. We encourage any organisation interested in partnering with us to get in touch.”

Shortlisted charities will be presented to airport staff, who will vote to select the next exclusive charity partner.
