WHSmith – Main Store

17th September 2026 - 14th December 2026

Your WH Smith store is extending and modernising with increased offering, updated design and extended in size.

Temporary alternative – The WH Smith Bookshop will remain open for the full duration of disruption, a condensed offering of Confectionary, Newspapers, Tobacco, and Snacking will be available in the temporary store. Alternatively, Boots will be available with a full offering of alternative products not stocked in the temporary WH Smith store.

New Airside Coffee Shop

Opening Spring 2027

Your new airside coffee shop is expanding and changing. Due to open early Spring 2027, a new coffee shop brand is TBC. The new retail unit will expand seating options, have an enhanced food and beverage range with focus on the option for more seating for groups and those wishing to have a quick bite before departing!

Temporary alternative – Hot beverages can be purchased from Bocco or The Distilling House while the disruption is live. General hot drinks will be available.

New Premium Drinks Bar

Opening Spring/Summer 2027

Your new airside premium drinks bar will be a brand-new unit to Aberdeen Airport, working in collaboration with TBC we will be delivering a diverse unit of premium drinks bar with a delicate menu offering of food.

Refurbishment of Casual Dining Unit

Summer/Autumn 2027

Your new refurbished casual dining unit will bring the space up to date with new refreshed colour schemes, new menu offering, reposition of the drinks bar and better zoning of the retail unit.

Temporary alternative – The Distilling House will be the alternative space while this unit is closed. The new coffee shop will also be available depending on the schedule being on track.
